TRADITIONAL COLLEGE EDUCATIONS ARE COSTLY, AND NOT RIGHT FOR EVERYONE.

While a traditional four year college education is a solution for some, for many it’s unaffordable. According to the College Board, the average cost of tuition and fees alone for an in-state resident attending a public college is $9,650 per year. That is a minimum of $38,600, assuming your child graduates in four years. And this doesn’t count the cost of books or the cost of room and board.

Costs aside, for many you people, college simply isn’t a good fit. Four years of college is four years your child is earning little to no income. Four years of college means four more years they will be dependent on you for financial security. And this is assuming that they graduate—approximately 50 to 75% of students drop out of college for various reasons. They may spend years in school, with nothing to show for it.
